DXA Desk is a reporting tool for bone densitometry. In Canada, DXA Desk helps to create CAR-compliant reports. It also helps determine the appropriate follow-up dates within your province.

Copy and paste or unassisted integration
Integrating the DXA Desk reports with your RIS and dictation software can be achieved in many ways. There are two methods available at no additional charge:

Integration through automation
Automation is an almost universal solution for integrating the text from the DXA Desk reports straight into your RIS or dictation software. This method feels just like back-end integration, but at a fraction of the effort and cost. Although we explain how to do this in our deployment instructions, you may also opt to have our staff assist you with the task. A great advantage of this method is DXA Desk is integrated with your software without the requirement of costly third party APIs. It is open source, and can be easily modified to reflect changes in new software versions.
Because some of the work needs to be repeated at each reporting station, please select the number of workstations that you wish to deploy.

Third party API integration
If your RIS or dictation software provider offers an API, we can certainly integrate our reports with your system. Please note that this method of integration often requires many stakeholders to be involved in a number of calls and emails during both the scoping and deployment phases of integration. As a result, this is the most costly method of integrating DXA Desk.

Remote applications training
Over the phone training with shared access is also available at an additional cost. This package includes one 3 hour (half-day) session. If you would like a full day of training, or several half-days, then please adjust the quantity to your taste.

We have always provided free e-mail support. Although we can't make any promises about response time, we've managed to handle most out-of-contract support requests within a few days.
One year of next-day support (maximum of 3 instances)
For installations where it is not imperative that you remain operational 24/7, we provide this non-urgent package of three support tickets. Write to use at any time within the year, and we will respond and begin solving your issue by the following business day. We usually do better than that! But, at this rate, we can't make any promises.

Annual license renewal
Please add this item if you would like to either pre-purchase additional years of maintenance (we offer volume discounts!) or extend the license of your existing installation. DXA Desk will cease to function without an active license.

Dedicated hardware device
If you don't have or wish to provide your own hardware, then we offer this pre-configured device. It will usually be an Apple Mini running both Windows and Mac OS and matching specifications necessary to operate your application for a minimum of five years.
We will replace this computer if it fails within the first three years after purchase.
